De groep Klein is sinds begin jaren 50 een continu groeiende, middenstand gestructureerde, onafhankelijke oppervlakte-behandelingsonderneming met een personeelsbestand van ca. 300 werknemers.

Einde jaren 50 werd het ouderlijke, landelijk gestructureerde schildersbedrijf door de huidige senior-chef Manfred Klein overgenomen.

Begin jaren '60 werd aangevangen met de industriële corrosiebescherming.

In 1965: Oprichting van het eerste straalbedrijf in Frankrijk.

In 1972: Start van een automatische straalstraat in de Dillinger Hüttenwerke, Duitsland.
Oprichting van een nieuw straalbedrijf in het huidige industriegebied Dillingen-Nord.

In 1974: Eerste buitenlandse werf in Indonesië - Krakatou Steel.

Midden jaren '70: Complete schilderwerken op een in die tijd grootste werf ter wereld in Puerto Ordaz in Venezuela en oprichting van de firma Picomet.

Begin jaren '80: Intrede in de wereld van de industriële verfsystemen, 3 - en 4 -lagen-systemen, etc. voor het Europese binnenland.

Verdere buitenlandse werven in alle werelddelen, in samenwerking met de grote internationale constructeurs, zoals lanceerplatform Ariane-raket op Frans Guyana.

In 1985: Oprichting van dochterbedrijf Klein - Lux te Differdange op de terreinen van Profil Arbed in Luxemburg.

In 1986: Nieuwbouw hoofdkantoor Industriegebied - Nord in Dillingen-Saar.

In 1991: Oprichting Klein KFT in Hongarije. Men is hier intussen op 4 verschillende locaties actief. Manueel stralen - coaten en poederlakken.

In 1993: Overname Straalco Overpelt N.V. in België. ( Straalco - Klein N.V. )

In 1998: Overname poederlakbedrijf te Neunkirchen. (D)

In 2000: Uitbreiding te Overpelt met een tweede bedrijfshal en straalstraat.

Straalco Klein N.V. is gevestigd op het industrieterrein Nolimpark 1008 te Overpelt België in het noorden van Limburg op ca. 6 Km. van de grens met Nederland.

Met zijn 10.000 M² bedrijfshallen beschikt Straalco Klein over de grootste productiecapaciteit van België voor het automatisch staalstralen en aanbrengen van las - en shopprimers op alle diverse stalen constructiematerialen.

Sedert 1993 beschikt Straalco Klein over een ISO - 9002 certificaat. (Since 2003 – ISO – 9001:2000.)

ISO-certificering is een begrip geworden dat ons allen aanbelangt en staat voor kwaliteitsstreven en kwaliteitszorg. Straalco klein werkt al jaren aan deze kwaliteitszorg.

Het behalen van het ISO 9002 certificaat maakt Straalco Klein het eerste Belgische bedrijf in haar branche die deze kwaliteitsgarantie kan aanbieden. Dit was slechts mogelijk door de volle inzet van alle medewerkers, en door de open communicatie en goede verstandhouding met onze klanten en leveranciers .

Straalco Klein voert volgende behandelingen uit : automatisch staalstralen en aanbrengen van roestwerende primers.

Om een kwalitatief hoogwaardige behandeling te kunnen aanbieden, die voldoet aan de verwachtingen van onze klanten, is onze organisatie zodanig gestructureerd dat al de factoren, die de kwaliteit beïnvloeden, doelmatig worden beheerst.

Since the start of the nineteen fifties, the Klein group has been a constantly growing, SME-structured, independent surface treatment enterprise, with personnel numbering approx. 300.

At the end of the fifties the parental, nationally structured painting company was taken over by the current senior executive Manfred Klein.

The start of the sixties saw the launch of the industrial corrosion protection activities.

Straalco Klein N.V. is established on the Nolimpark industrial estate in Overpelt, Belgium, in the north of Limburg approx. 6 km from the Dutch border.
